35 series - Encryption & integrity protection algorithms UEA2 & UIA2

Description

These specifications define a second set of encryption and integrity protection algorithms, known as UEA2 and UIA2. They have been introduced as backups for the algorithms that are currently used (UEA1 and UIA1), in case those algorithms are ever compromised.

One specification defines the algorithms themselves, while a second defines an underlying algorithm known as the SNOW 3G stream cipher. There are also two test specifications, which define the following:

• Implementors' test data, which test the individual components within the algorithms
• Conformance test data, which test the algorithms as a whole
