Description

The Gm interface was introduced in release 5. It's a signalling interface between the UE and the IMS, which is based on the protocols SIP and SDP. The signalling messages are carried transparently by the radio access network and core network.

This is the test specification for the signalling messages carried by the UE over the Gm interface. It's defined in two parts: the specification itself, and a template for an ICS in which manufacturers can specify which capabilities have been implemented.
